Scotch Naturals Nailcare

While working the Secret Style Suite at BlogHer last weekend, I was introduced to a fabulous brand of nail care — Scotch Naturals.

For those of us concerned with the toxins in conventional nail products, Scotch Naturals is an answer to prayer!

Making the change to non-toxic nail polish is one you won’t regret. Scotch Naturals is a safe and eco-friendly alternative to conventional polish. Our revolutionary water-based formula delivers long lasting, salon-quality results in a stunning array of sophisticated shades.

Our polishes contain none of the chemicals found in typical nail polish. We are “3 Free” as well free of ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, nitrocellulose, acetone, and heavy metals. We are truly non-toxic.

I met the founder of the company, Ginny Cardenas, and chatted with her quite a bit. She was duly horrified to hear that I regularly get gel manicures. I KNOW it is horrible for me — the UV lights freak me out a bit every time I get one, but they last so long and look so nice. Ginny informed me they are working on a new base coat that will extend the life of their manicures to about seven days. That was music to my ears!!

You can purchase Scotch Naturals products on their website or search for a retailer near you.
