What We Wore 11.16.11

What Grace Wore: Black cotton/lycra ruched and embellished blouse by Trina Turk over a basic black tank with winter white wide leg trousers by Express. Bronze leather satchel by Talbots, black patent sling-backs by 9 West. Jewelry: Bracelet from the Smithsonian African Art museum shop that is a take off on an iron belt of a Cameroon tribe, animal print glass beaded necklace by Jessica Buchtel, Artist, and costume dangle earrings from some big-box store.

Where: Church

What Melissa Wore: Navy blazer and ruffled white blouse from Loft (last season) and trouser jeans from 7 for All Mankind. Shoes are wedges from Target. I picked up this blazer last year on the clearance rack and with an additional 50% sale, I paid only $8! Boy, have I gotten my money’s worth on that!! The jeans were purchased on a flash sale site and I wear these shoes at least 3 times a week. I wish I could go back in time and buy them in black too!

Where: Church

What Jo-Lynne Wore: The magenta modal/polyester top is from Banana Republic, and the black poncho/cape top is from the LOFT Outlet. These black corduroys are Sevens, and they’re such a fine wale corduroy that they almost feel like velvet. They are very stretchy and comfy and soft. (They’re similar to these, but I got mine on a 40% off sale last winter. WOOT!) I wore black patent pointy-toe flats from Nine West, and chunky hoop earrings were my only jewelry.

Where: To continue with a theme, Church!

What Nicole Wore: admiral military coat c/o shopkempt, ruffle dress from h&mblack tights from h&m, black booties from target (similar style). This coat from ShopKempt is one of my new favorites. The flirty pleats with brass buttons are the perfect combination. And I love pairing navy with black.
