“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini. I received an Urbini stroller to both facilitate my review as well as thank me for my participation.”
One of the most stressful items to select for your baby registry is by far your stroller. Let’s face it: you need it to be functional, light and easy to store. But you totally want it to look ‘cool’ too. And while there are many other options out there for sleek looking strollers, most are not as economically priced like the super chic Urbini Touri Travel system!
This is one of the best lightweight strollers I’ve found, after testing many others up and down the aisles of the store. The weight is what won me over – many travel systems are upwards of 50 lbs when assembled. I can lift this stroller with one arm while wrangling my squirmy toddler in the other. We took it for a test run around the block and I can’t speak for my one-and-a-half year old, but he seemed pretty comfortable and for once was not playing with the harness straps or trying to unbuckle the safety straps. The comfort pads on the 5-point harness not only held him securely, but must have been comfortable enough to make him forget they were there. The only attribute of this stroller I wasn’t 100% pleased with was the storage compartment – it fit my giant diaper bag easily, but didn’t have additional room to put my coat or any shopping bags in there as well. So probably not for a long day at the amusement park or epic shopping trip at the outlets when you have several large bags, but fine for when you’re normally out and about.
As for storing the stroller – it was a breeze. The frame contracts into the storage position with ease, and the arm bar is removable to compact the stroller even more. PERFECT for travel!!
The Urbini Touri systems does come with the Urbini Petal infant car seat which goes seamlessly from the stroller to the base. I was pleased with the deep side walls of the seat and how light it was to carry – a major plus when your infant starts approaching the 20lb mark! (The secret as to why so many moms have killer arms!) The base was easy to install in my Nissan Rogue and the indicator made it clear when I had positioned it completely level and safe. The Urbini Petal seat has been rigorously crash and side-impact tested for safety, which is the priority when choosing any car seat.
Overall, I was thrilled with the function and quality of the Urbini Touri Travel System. It definitely is a fantastic value for anyone looking for a stroller that can grow from an infant to a toddler. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s pretty sleek looking as well (and comes in multiple other fun colors if you’re feeling adventurous!) This will be in our family for years to come!
