I just got back from visiting my new nephew. Just look at this little nugget.
It was amazing! And, of course, Aunties must come to visit bearing gifts! I made that sweet blanket that Baby Ben is laying on (it only took me a year, but I finished it!) and some little gifts for the new big brother.
I also couldn’t forget the new mommy! Aside from sleep, a new mom needs some “me time,” especially with a toddler on her hands too. To help pamper my sister, I put together a gift basket with all of my favorite products!
First off – some hair care! During pregnancy, hormones keep hair from falling out (which is why pregnancy hair is awesome!). But, all good things must come to an end! When those hormones drop back to normal, the extra hairs drop too. New moms can treat their tresses with and It has the invigorating fragrance of strawberries & mint and are totally paraben free. They’ll also leave her hair light, clean and protected – to get her through that postpartum hair stage!
Speaking of missing lush pregnancy locks, is a great trick to make up for that lost body and volume! Just apply in the shower, let stand for 3 minutes, and rinse out. It leaves your hair hydrated and healthy (and, really, three minutes is a mini-vacation for a new mom!).
I also included Wash – this bright citrus scent really does wake you up with energizing citrus! It also moisturizes your skin – after I had my babies and was nursing, my skin got unbelievably dry! This body wash is great at working against postpartum dry skin.
Aside from beauty products, I always love to add some bonus items. Here are my favorites:
Chocolate is a given, of course! I also included a cute water bottle as it is a great way to make sure she drinks water all day! Nursing can really dehydrate you and keeping up your water intake is vital.
It’s also hard to find time to do much when you’re a new mom – but new moms are forced to sit every few hours to feed the baby. It’s a great time to catch up on Netflix or read a book you’ve been meaning to get to! I gave my sister a book I’ve recently finished: Love Does.
And, of course, a Starbucks gift card. Time to make up for all that caffeine she missed out on!
What beauty products do you think are essential for new moms? Share in the comments and you can win some revitalizing goodies for yourself!

I would give her the chance to have some “ME” time. Perhaps babysitting or helping with providing a meal to give her a much needed break! Starbucks never hurts either. 😉
Thanks for the chance to win!

I would pamper the new mom in my life with a nice mani and pedi.
So many awesome products. I would pamper the new mom by having an entire day to ourselves. I would say a nice brunch, some shopping, and a nice relaxing spa massage and pedicure… of course a glass of wine included. 😉
I would offer to keep the precious little one while she does whatever she wants as long as it is for her. Depending on the situation i would offer an afternoon or maybe a day.
With a little bit of time off and a gift card to go do something totally fun for a few hours! Maybe a g/c to her salon!
By babysitting so she can have time to herself to do whatever, go somewhere or even take a nap
A nice back rub followed by a mani/pedi
